Information for Presenters
All presentation rooms used for parallel sessions are equipped with a data projector, screen and laptop.
Please bring your presentation on a memory stick and load it onto the laptop in your presentation room.
Presenters are encouraged to use the equipment provided and not their own laptops/tablets. If a presenter has to use their own equipment to run specialist software they must bring all the necessary cables and connections to link to the equipment.
Wifi is available throughout all venues, however presenters in Room D2 at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland are advised that wifi access is limited in this room due to the soundproofing. Presenters in this room are advised to download all presentation information in advance.
TIME KEEPING TIPS
It is essential that presenters keep on schedule and adhere to the allotted time; as a courtesy to other presenters and session attendees, please keep to time.
PLEASE REHEARSE YOUR PRESENTATION SO THAT IT DOES NOT EXCEED THE TIME ALLOWED.
We also ask that you go to your presentation room 10 minutes before the start of your session to ensure that the session can begin on time and to familiarise yourself with the podium to learn how to control the slide show +/- video, and work equipment There will be AV technician in each venue who can assist with any technical queries. The technician will resolve any technical issues.
