Visa Requirements for the UK
According to Home Office guidelines, a Standard Visitor Visa will be sufficient for taking part in, or attending the conference. If you need to check if you require a visa or need information about applying for a visa click here.
Please allow plenty of time to apply for your visa (8 weeks at the very minimum) as ISME will not be able to refund any of your costs if you fail to attend because you did not receive your visa in time.

Getting to the Venues
Glasgow Royal Concert Hall is situated at the top of Buchanan Street and at the end of Sauchiehall Street, a 2-5 minute walk from Queen Street Train Station, Buchanan Street Underground Station and opposite Buchanan Bus Station. Glasgow Central Train Station is also situated in the city centre and is approximately 15 minute walk from the venue. There is a courtesy coach service that runs from both Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street Train Stations to Buchanan Bus Station. Glasgow Central Train Station is approximately 10-15 minute walk from the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

Lunch and refreshments are not included within the registration fees. There are facilities to purchase refreshments at both the Royal Concert Hall and The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Alternatively, all ISME 2016 venues are situated in the city centre of Glasgow, with a wide choice of restaurants, cafes, bars and supermarkets near by.
The registration fees do not include provision for the insurance of delegates against theft or property damage, personal accidents or sickness. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel insurance.
